2023 Christmas Season
In line with the previously announced closure days earlier this year from our website (“Operating Time”) earlier this year, on weekdays the Park will be closed for three days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from November 20th to December 31st. Gangwon-do frequently has heavy snow in the winter and the temperatures often remain below freezing point. Considering the regional climate, snow removal work and thorough equipment inspection will be carried out during the closed days. This is to ensure our guests safe and best possible experiences when visiting LEGOLAND® Korea Resort.
Certain rides and attractions at LEGOLAND® Korea are unavailable in cold spells or when the temperature drops to a certain level. We ask for your kind understanding that water rides and some outdoor rides will be temporarily closed for safety reasons due to the drop in temperatures. Safety inspections and maintenance will be conducted on the closed rides and facilities during the winter season so that future guests visiting LEGOLAND can enjoy safely.
LEGOLAND® is a theme park for children ages 2 to 12 and their families, and we apply stricter safety standards to place children's safety as the top priority. Due to the regional climate and characteristics of Gangwon-do, some rides will not operate in consideration of heavy snow coverage and extreme drop in temperatures
Various decorations and events will be held, including but not limited to exhibition of giant LEGO® DUPLO® Christmas tree, tree lighting ceremonies, Mike and Amy's Amazing Christmas - a fun and thrilling Christmas show at LEGO Ninjago Live Theater, LEGO building contest, meet and greet with LEGO Christmas characters, LEGO® brick racing car contest, and Santa's Secret Gift* (*only on weekends).

Park hours for 2023 winter season will be adjusted as follows depending on the weather and the temperature.
- November 1 ~ November 20, 2023: 10 AM ~ 5 PM
- November 24, ~ December 31, 2023: 11:00 AM ~ 6:00 PM

Considering the winter climate and sunrise and sunset times, the Park is scheduled to operate between 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM from November 24, 2023 to March 24, 2023.
The BIG Shop will be open for public, for LEGO product and other retail product sales.

LEGOLAND Hotel is open 365 days a year, regardless of the Park operation.
Hotel guests can enjoy:

As notified in the Annual Pass terms and conditions, regardless of the pass type, all Annual Passes include black out dates and Park closure/non-operational days, and can be used for 365 days from the date of purchase. Unlike last year, where the Park was closed completely during winter season, this year it is only closed partially and will operate on other days throughout the winter. As the winter closure has already been posted on the Operation Calendar on our website, the Annual Pass validity period will not be extended. For our pass holders who love LEGOLAND, various pass holder benefits will be provided so please stay tuned.
*From November 21st until June 26th, during a total of 77 closed days, LEGOLAND Annual Pass holders can visit COEX aquarium at 50% discount and Sea Life Busan Aquarium, and there will be two periods of bring a free event for Gold and Platinum Annual Pass holders in 2024 spring and autumn.
Due to the reduced operation of some rides, the ticket prices from on-site purchase on the day of the visit is KRW 40,000 (same for weekdays/weekends and adults/children). Online pre-purchase price is KRW 30,000 and the discount offer for Gangwon residents and soldiers/police/firefighters is KRW 27,000.
The winter 1-day admission ticket is an undated ticket (when purchased on the official website) and can visit the Park once on a date of your choice between November 24, 2023 and March 24, 2024.
The Winter Season Pass will be available as an economical season pass that allows customers to revisit unlimited during the winter season at only KRW 39,000 (per person), which is cheaper than a 1-day ticket when purchased from Ticket Windows. The Winter Season Pass can be purchased from the official LEGOLAND Korea website.

2024 Winter Period
The Park is scheduled to open three days a week, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during the 2024 winter season (January 1, 2024 - March 24, 2024). Previously LEGOLAND had been closed for Park maintenance and inspection during the very low temperature cold seasons, but after implementing our customers’ feedback who love LEGOLAND, we have decided to conduct a trial operation this winter.
Due to the winter climate and sun set times, the Park hours will be from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Park operation will be reduced to certain rides and various indoor facilities and programs. LEGOLAND, where its main visitors are children and families with children, has a global winter closure policy where Parks close during very cold weathers. The winter period from January to March 2023 was the first winter after LEGOLAND Korea Resort opened, and operation has been in accordance with the global LEGOLAND policies and standards. However, after collecting our customers’ feedback, we plan to operate a pilot-Park operation during 2024 January through March, as a part of the localization policy.

There will be a special New Year's event at LEGOLAND Korea, a meet and greet with special Winter LEGOLAND long-legged friends, a lucky bag making contest, winter LEGO® mosaic making, and a LEGO® curling contest.

The Park is scheduled to operate normally for the spring season starting March 29th, 2024. As announced on the website, the winter closure will continue until Thursday, March 28th, 2024 for maintenance and inspection of equipment/facilities, to prepare for full normal operation in the spring season. We ask for your kind understanding.

Regarding closures on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in 2024
LEGOLAND Korea Resort is localizing the operation method of the global LEGOLAND Resort policies to provide experiences and services that meet the needs and expectations of the local market. LEGOLAND Korea Resort is accumulating Park management know-how to improve guests’ experience at our Resort.
As the LEGO bricks, LEGO models, and structures made of bricks throughout LEGOLAND Korea Resort are exposed in external settings, environment and climate, they require careful management, maintenance, repair and reinforcement. This is scheduled to take place regularly in 2024 during extreme heat, rain and monsoon seasons. Accordingly, we ask for your kind understanding that some Tuesdays and Wednesdays during those season/climate are included in the closed days for such reasons. LEGOLAND will continue to strive to provide the best experience and services to our guests.
The Park’s open days in 2024 increased by 8 days compared to 2023. As notified in the Annual Pass purchase terms and conditions, regardless of the pass type, all Annual Passes includes black out days and Park’s non-operation days, and the pass can be used for 365 days from the date of purchase. In addition to the benefits promised at the time of purchase, Annual Pass holders will be provided with increased benefits, such as new seasonal events, preview invitations before the opening of new attractions (e.g. Water Maze preview from July 2023), and free family and friend invitations not provided by other parks. In 2024, two free friend invitation events will be offered in spring and fall (Gold and Platinum Pass holder event), and a 50% discount on COEX Aquarium and Sea Life Busan Aquarium tickets during LEGOLAND's 77-day closed days from November 21, 2023 to June 26, 2024 (50% discount applies to all Annual Pass holders).
* In 2023, a total of 18 days of friend invitation events had been held, which provided an additional admission benefit for accompanying invited friends’ tickets, worth KRW 1.08 million per person per Annual Pass.
To ensure that Annual Pass holders who love LEGOLAND can have a wider range of visit date choices in 2024, the Park operating days in 2024 has increased by 8 additional days compared to 2023. There is no significant change in the number of days each pass can use the Park.
